What is Start-up East Midlands all about?
Snake Lane Design were one of the proud business sponsors of the Start-up East Midlands competition. The competition, aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs with a business idea or those who started a new business after the 1st January 2011, had a prize fund worth over £12,000, including free graphic design services from Snake Lane Design.
First-prize was awarded to young entrepreneur, Rishi Kumar, owner of Derby-based business, the Memory Box Store. Product design graduate, Rishi’s application stood out due to his sound business plan and vision.
Prizes were announced and awarded by John Walker, FSB National Chairman at the East Midlands Businesses to Business exhibition held on Tuesday 25th October at Derby Assembly Rooms.
